Blog Love #2 Alexa Rankings
Blog Love was a feature that I started some time ago and never really picked it up. So, I thought that I’d give you a wrap up of the week in the blogosphere by providing some Blog Love every Sunday. Something for you to start your week with to catch up… in case you missed it.
While I’ll make an attempt to keep all my Blog Loves on a specific subject, I make no promises there!
With that, there’s no doubt that by now you have heard that Alexa has made some changes to their ranking system. Claiming that they have something more accurate, many blogs and websites alike have had huge changes to the rank assigned to their Alexa rank. Even more especially true for tech bloggers.
I’m Blogging That wasn’t any exception to the change even though I believe I faired better than most of what other bloggers are reporting.
Prior to Alexa’s update, I’m Blogging That had a rank of 80,133. While I was hoping to drop down to the 70,000′s with the next update, the change to the ranking system pushed me up to 100,833. A significantly smaller hit than other blogs took. I’m still happy with my rank for my humble blog here…
