They are now saying gas prices are high because of demand. I don't think people are driving more now than before. Who checks their data?

Great video. I validate people by first analysing what they say to know which way they are thinking. Then I give an answer appropriately.

Haha this was great, “it is great, amazing!” we all like our compliments ;) I love how he talks to the president and to Osama Bin Laden, lol he was making an impact on the world, kinda like forest Gump. Lmao, “no smiling in your drivers license photo”.. so true. He was kinda creepy lolat the one part, following her around like that. Aww then he becomes a photographer and he shoots a photo of the sick lady who was her mother. Happy ending

    Till then,

    Jean

I validate my people on work. And my boss is my validation when I need to know if I'm doing things okay.

And I validate my girlfriend, by listening to her and giving her tips or saying that's she is doing great.

I say thank you. Simple, isn't it? But is it really effective?

How I make it effective is I tell the person I'm thanking why I'm thanking them. "Thank you for putting the new cover on the TPS reports. Not only do I know you got the memo without asking, but it means I won't have three other people asking me if we talked about it. Good job!"

Sadly, imblogging has been removed from our grad school preferred blog list.

I say sadly because our grad students very much enjoyed the articles you have on the blog.

Most bloggers don't label as spam our grad student comments because they are definitely not spam.

However, unless you have specifically blocked ToysPeriod (one of our scholarship providers) as a home site, Akismet has made the decision for you and blocked non-spam items.

That is happening on all blogs with the Akismet plug in, forcing the College to ban WordPress for the purpose of grad courses, including this site.

If you would like to be included on the College's white hat list once again, just drop me a line at avoisin@lindachristas.org, and I will once again list you as a preferred grad student destination.

If Akismet is blocking things that you haven't designated as spam, you can contact them for remedy at Alex Shiel support@akismet.com or Matt Mullenweg at matt@mullenweb.com. Blocking spam is one thing. However, when valuable messages from people who you have worked to attract to your message are also being blocked, the potential customer, client, fan or in this case, grad student, just won't return.

When Akismet boasts of spam exclusion, unfortunately, up to 30% of all messages blocked are not spam.

Hope to hear from you, so that we can reinstate imblogging

Validating people…we don't do that enough with our friends and family. We take them for granted sometimes. For example, I have a friend who does computer repair Hamilton…I acknowledge that he's an awesome computer expert =)

Isn't that the truth, you can't have a 1 fits all validation, things like that just don't work out too well.

I validate others by not using programs like Akismet that is under investigation by the ACLU for anonymously trashing blog commenters for reasons other than producing spam.

Great article about how Akismet makes people feel less valuable and validated at:
